Cloudland has an unexpected Friday night off.
The ‘Landers game with Rockwood slated for Friday night has been canceled due to COVID-19 concerns in the Tigers’ program. Cloudland Head Coach Zac Benfield confirmed the news.
The Cloudland-Rockwood matchup was announced just two weeks before the season was slated to kickoff.
The Tigers were to replace Hancock County – who dropped football this season – on Cloudland’s 2021 schedule.
The ‘Landers look to return to action on Friday, Sept. 10 as Hampton makes the short trip to Orr Field.
