Cloudland had a successful business trip on Thursday night.
The ‘Landers rolled to a 42-6 victory over Johnson County in nonconference action in Mountain City.
The game was called after three quarters due to lightning.
Cloudland improved to 8-1 on the season.
The ‘Landers struck early and often as the Cloudland offense rolled to a 30-6 halftime lead after holding an 8-6 advantage early.
Cloudland scored 34 unanswered points in the contest.
Seth Birchfield had four touchdowns on the night – including a 57-yard score. Caleb Sluder added a score, while Chase Shell hit Gage McKinney for a passing touchdown.
Cloudland is set to return to action next Friday night at North Greene.
