A strong performance in a rivalry game earned this week’s Climate Controllers Player of the Week.
Cloudland’s Jordan Hodges has been selected as the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance in the ‘Landers’ win over Hampton to close out the regular season.
The freshman quarterback was 6-of-8 passing for 117 yards and two touchdowns in the win. On the defensive side, Hodges recorded a key interception to end the first half and stop a Hampton scoring threat.
Hodges joins teammates Landon Barnette and Grayson Cole as Climate Controllers Player of the Week selections this season.
Other honorees include Nalique Anderson (Happy Valley), Lane Parker (Happy Valley), Ashton Fuller (Unaka), William McDuffie (Elizabethton), and William Bowers (Elizabethton).
Hodges and company are set to open the Class A playoffs on Friday night at Greenback.
