A strong performance captured the Climate Controllers Player of the Week.
Cloudland’s Bryce Birchfield has been named the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance in the win over Sunbright.
The senior had 115 yards on 12 carries with two touchdowns for CHS. He also added a 50-yard pass completion for a touchdown.
Birchfield added two extra points as well for Cloudland.
Birchfield joins Rhett Slagle (Elizabethton), Connor McKinney (Hampton), Peyton Townsend (Hampton), Lane Parker (Happy Valley), Walker Gouge (Cloudland), Keelin Releford (Happy Valley), and Ashton Fuller (Unaka) as Climate Controllers Player of the Week selections this season.
Cloudland is set to travel to North Greene on Friday for a crucial conference clash.
