A strong performance stood out for this week’s Climate Controllers Player of the Week.

For the second time this season, Cloudland’s Gage McKinney has been named the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance at Cosby on Friday night.

McKinney was also selected for his performance in the win over Unaka.

At Cosby, the senior running back surpassed 1,000 yards on the season as he tallied 336 yards on 36 carries.

McKinney scored four touchdowns in the game – three of which came in the second half to help Cloudland pull away from the Eagles.

Other Climate Controllers Player of the Week selections this season include Regan Ensor (Happy Valley), Levi Lunsford (Hampton, Nate Stephens (Elizabethton), and Landon Ramsey (Unaka).

McKinney and company are set to travel to West Greene on Friday night.
