Elizabethton held firm atop the Class 4A rankings for Week 3.
The Cyclones remained No. 1 in the latest Tennessee AP Prep Football Poll that was released on Monday.
Elizabethton, who was off this past Friday night, tallied 8-of-10 first-place votes to tally 96 points in this week’s edition. Hardin County remained at No. 2 after receiving two first-place votes and 90 points.
Tullahoma jumped to No. 3 this week with Anderson County and East Hamilton rounding out the top five.
Region 1-4A foe Greeneville was ranked No. 8.
Elizabethton is slated to travel to Daniel Boone for nonconference action this Friday night.
