A 1-2 punch proved to be the winning combination for Hampton.
The Bulldogs’ Adam McClain and Hunter Davenport have been named the Week 5 Climate Controllers’ Players of the Week for their performances in Hampton’s 64-28 victory over Gatlinburg-Pittman.
McClain and Davenport combined for nine touchdowns on the night. McClain had 249 yards on 26 carries, while Davenport had 207 yards on 17 carries on the night.
Both had touchdown runs over 50 yards in the game.
Hampton returns to action on Friday night at Cloudland.
