The final Climate Controllers Player of the Week for 2017 stood out above the rest.

Hampton’s Hunter Davenport had a standout evening in the Bulldogs’ win over Cosby and has been named the Week 11 Climate Controllers Player of the Week.

It is the second time this season that Davenport has been selected.

The senior running back ran for 201 yards and three touchdowns on the ground to power the Hampton offensive attack. Davenport also added a 35-yard touchdown in the win.

Davenport and company take on Rockwood in the opening round of the Class 2A playoffs on Friday night.
