The bracket for the District 1-2A Tournament is set.
The 2026 edition of the tournament is set to run from Wednesday, Feb. 18 to Tuesday, Feb. 23, with the semifinals and finals being held at West Ridge. Opening round contests will be held at the higher seeds.
On the boys’ side, Happy Valley will open the tournament as the No. 6 seed. HV will open the tournament in the opening round at No. 3 South Greene on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 6p. It will be an elimination contest.
The winner will advance to Saturday’s 4:30p semifinal against No. 2 West Greene.
The other side of the bracket will see No. 1 Unicoi County take on the winner of Thursday night’s No. 5 Johnson County at No. 4 Chuckey Doak play-in game.
On the girls’ side, the Lady Warriors will open the tournament as the No. 6 seed. HV will travel to No. 3 Unicoi County for an elimination game in the opening round.
The winner of the HV and Unicoi County game will take on No. 2 Johnson County in a Saturday semifinal. On the other side, No. 1 South Greene will take on the winner of Wednesday’s No. 5 Chuckey Doak at No. 4 West Greene contest.
