The first Climate Controllers Player of the Week went to a performance that stood out above the rest.

Elizabethton senior Bryson Rollins has been selected as the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance in the Cyclones’ Week 1 victory over Science Hill.

The quarterback looked in midseason form for the season opener with five touchdowns.

Rollins was 13-of-19 for 204 yards and three touchdowns. On the ground, the signal-caller had 87 yards on 11 carries.

Rollins and company were slated to take on Rhea County on Friday night, but that game was postponed due to COVID-19 concerns.
