Happy Valley 17, Cloudland 7
The Warriors were able to pull away from a county foe on Friday evening.
After CHS took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first, HV responded with three runs in the bottom of the first. Cloudland regained the lead in the top of the third with five runs, but the Warriors plated seven in the home side of the inning to regain the lead. The Warriors were able to add to the lead over the next two innings to secure the win.
Lane Parker went 4-for-4 with two RBI for HV, while Grady Goulds and Aiden Hartsook had two hits and two RBI. Cade Kendall added a hit and an RBI.
Ty Johnson knocked in a run, and Jamie Esterline and Mason Belt each added a hit.
On the mound, Johnson recorded five strikeouts and allowed just one unearned run on two hits in just over two innings of work.
Walker Gouge led the ‘Landers as he went 3-for-3 with a triple and an RBI. Jacob Stinnett had a hit and two RBI. Camden Peppers and Bryson Peppers each had a hit and a RBI.
Colin Davis added a hit for Cloudland.
Thomas Job struck out for batters for CHS.
Unaka 22, Tri-Cities Christian 9
The Rangers rolled to a win on Friday night.
Unaka used an eight-run second inning and a nine-run fourth inning to take full control of the contest.
Bailey Cannon and Cameron Prince each had three RBI for UHS, while Brandon Buckles, Laken Barnett, and Timothy Pareenteau each recorded two RBI.
Brycen Eggers, Prince, Buckles, Cannon, and Barnett recorded a hit piece for the Rangers. Cooper Shanks and Eggers both finished with an RBI.
Elizabethton 7, Loudon 4
The Cyclones used a big fifth inning to take a nonconference victory on Friday night.
After the game entered the fourth tied at 2-2, EHS plated five runs to take control.
Rhett Slagle was 2-for-3, while Ryan Jones had two RBI and a hit. Brayden Buckles added a hit and an RBI. Justin Whitehead and Jack Blevins each tallied a hit in the win. Bryson Rowland also recorded an RBI.
On the mount, Carson Atkinson recorded four strikeouts and allowed just one earned run on two hits in three innings of work, while Elijah Ambrose struck out one batter and allowed no runs and no hits in three innings of work.

Elizabethton 14, Happy Valley 0
The Lady Cyclones jumped out early to take a county win on Friday.
EHS plated six runs in the first and added five more in the second to take control.
Jozey Reece led the way with three hits and three RBI, while Lacey Gobble had three RBI and two hits for the Lady Cyclones. Adrian Heading drove in two runs and tallied a single. Mikinna Blackwell and Brook Sparks had two hits and an RBI.
In the pitching circle, Kaitlyn Gryder picked up the win as she struck out five batters and allowed no hits and no runs in two innings of work.
Trinity Bowers recorded the lone hit for the Lady Warriors.
