Hampton hit the gas early and never looked back.
The Bulldogs rolled to a 73-37 District 1-A victory over Sullivan North on Monday night.
It was all Hampton from the onset.
The Bulldogs raced out to a double-digit lead on the heels of a stingy defense. Hampton led 26-11 at the end of the first quarter.
Hampton continued to stay hot in the second as they pushed the advantage to 41-18 at the break.
From there, the Bulldogs wouldn’t allow any thought of a comeback.
Michael Harrison led a balanced Hampton attack with 13 points.
Morgan Lyons and Isaiah McCoury had 11 points apiece, while Garrett Vines tossed in nine points for the Bulldogs.
