It was all Hampton in a Carter County Region 1-A clash.
The Bulldogs took the lead on the first play from scrimmage and never looked back in a 66-8 victory over Unaka at JC Campbell Stadium.
Hampton wasted no time.
Freshman Ryland Jones broke free for a 41-yard touchdown run, and Eli Tester added the two-point conversion. Kaden Jones added a 12-yard touchdown before Brycen Blevins found Logan Hughes for a 28-yard score.
The Bulldogs pushed the lead to 32-0 as Alden Cordell caught a 38-yard pass from Blevins.
In the second quarter, Blevins found Cordell (22 yards) and Hughes (33 yards) for touchdowns, while Eli Tester added a 5-yard touchdown run as the Bulldogs held a 54-0 halftime advantage.
In the second half, K.Jones added a 14-yard touchdown run off a running back pitch, and Aaron Shelby and Edward Page connected for a 43-yard touchdown to account for the Hampton final, while Jacob Carrier and Asher Dunn connected for a 40-yard Unaka touchdown, and Carrier found Ashton Fuller for the two-point conversion.
Blevins finished the game 14-of-16 passing for 302 yards and five touchdowns. The sophomore set the school record for single-game yards and touchdown record. Cordell had five catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns, while Hughes had three catches for 73 yards and two touchdowns.
Tester led the Hampton ground attack with 92 yards and a touchdown on nine carries. K. Jones had two touchdowns and 74 yards on four carries.
Carrier had 112 yards passing and a touchdown. touchdown for Unaka. Dunn had three catches for 74 yards and a touchdown.
The Rangers were held to -1 rushing yard and 111 total offensive yards, while Hampton had 502 total offensive yards.
