The Unaka football program will be looking for a new head coach.

O’Brien Bennett announced his resignation as head coach of the Ranger program on Monday afternoon. Bennett confirmed the move and told the team in a Monday afternoon meeting.

Bennett took over the Rangers in January 2017. The Rangers won the program’s first playoff game in 2022.

This past season, the Rangers were unable to break into the win column as they fell in several heartbreakers.
