Hampton celebrated Homecoming 2019 in a big way on Friday night.

The Bulldogs jumped out early and never looked back in a 64-0 win over county rival Unaka at JC Campbell Stadium.

With the win, Hampton improves to 7-2 on the season, and Unaka drops to 1-8 overall.

The opening half was all Hampton.

The next Hampton drive saw the Bulldogs get back on the board when Jones found Jonah Jones for a 25-yard touchdown back.

Isiah Greenwell capped off the quarter with a 61-yard run to give Hampton a 31-0 advantage after a quarter of play.

The Rangers continued to battle but were unable to get anything going despite strong runs from Daniel Shearl and Logan Benway.

Oaks opened the second-quarter scoring with a seven-yard touchdown run and Dylan Moffitt scored on a two-yard run for the Bulldogs. Hampton ended the half as Douglas Tolley jumped on a fumble in the end zone to cap the first-half scoring.

Tristan Lipford and Aidan Vines found the end zone for Hampton in the third quarter to account for the final scoring. Unaka continued to battle but was unable to continue drives despite a hard-fought effort.
