A big performance in a rivalry game always stands out.
Hampton’s Conor Jones has been named the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for Week 4 after he led the Bulldogs to a 42-0 win over Cloudland.
The sophomore quarterback had a big night as he tallied five total touchdowns.
In the air, Jones was 7-of-10 passing for 145 yards and four touchdowns. Jones added 97 yards on the ground on 10 carries with a score.
Jones joins Elizabethton’s Bryson Rollins, Unaka’s Landon Ramsey and Happy Valley’s Eli Ayers as Climate Controllers Player of the Week honorees for the 2019 season.
Hampton is set to host Johnson County next Friday night after their bye week.
