Happy Valley took care of business on the road Friday night.
The Warriors captured a 27-19 win over Eagleton Academy in Region 1-2A play in Maryville. With the win, Happy Valley improves to 3-0 on the year.
The Warriors held a 7-6 lead at the half as Gabe McDougald scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter.
After Eagleton took a 14-13 lead midway through the third quarter, HV went to work with a quick drive that was capped when Jamie Esterline scored on a 46-yard touchdown run to take a 14-13 lead.
Ron Paul Parker added a 19-yard touchdown later in the quarter with a 64-yard touchdown to push the Warrior lead to 20-13.
HV pushed the lead to 27-13 late in the fourth as McDougald hit Parker for a 19-yard touchdown pass.
McDougald had 102 yards on 15 carries and added 46 passing yards, while Esterline had eight carries for 74 yards.
Parker had six carries for 79 yards.
