Lady Bulldogs Take Win Over East Nashville; Drop Two Games To Georgia Teams

Hampton 21, East Nashville 7
A day after getting their first win since 2019, Hampton added to their total with a 21-7 victory over East Nashville in the third game of the night in the Cookeville Classic.

After retiring the East Nashville without a run in the top of the first, Hampton exploded for 10 runs in the home side of the inning to take control.

East Nashville got seven runs back in the top side of the second, but the Lady Bulldogs tallied 12 runs to secure the run-rule win.

Macy Henry had three hits – including a double to lead the way.
Mackenzie Thompson, Anna Hatley, and Lacey Smith each recorded a hit.

Macon County (Ga.) 12, Hampton 7
The Lady Bulldogs were unable to complete a rally against Macon County.

Rachel Fair tallied a double in the game, while Hatley was 2-for-2 at the plate.

Franklin County (Ga.) 8, Hampton 1
The Lady Bulldogs came up short against the hot bats of Franklin County.

Macy Henry, Abbie Lunsford, Setlock, and Fair each had a hit for the Lady Bulldogs.
