Cloudland was unable to extend the season on Thursday night.
The ‘Landers fell 51-6 to Region 2-A No. 1 Coalfield in the first round of the TSSAA Class A playoffs on the road.
Grayson Cole led CHS with 74 yards on 22 carries and added a touchdown. Cole also added two catches for 22 yards.
Landon Barnette had 37 yards on eight carries, while Walker Gouge added three carries for 35 yards.
Coalfield’s Jaiden Bunch – who was named a TSSAA Class A Mr. Football Semifinalist on Thursday- had 109 yards and two touchdowns, while Hadyn Hedrick added 88 yards and two touchdowns. Jack Treece was 4-for-6 with 117 yards and a score.
