Hampton picked up a strong nonconference win on Friday afternoon.
Behind a stellar pitching effort from Dalton Rouse, the Bulldogs pulled away for a 7-0 victory over Happy Valley at Scotty Bunton Field.
Hampton was paced by Dru Owens as he went 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Gavin Hardin and Landen Street also had a RBI apiece for the Bulldogs.
Rouse held the Warriors to just four hits in the game.
Jacob Absher led HV as he went 2-for-3 at the plate.
