Cloudland celebrated senior day in style.
The ‘Landers rolled to a 15-5 victory over Hancock County on Tuesday afternoon in Roan Mountain as CHS celebrated the three seniors of this year’s class.
Senior Dillon Johnson had a strong showing on the mound as he limited the Indians’ scoring chances. Cloudland was sparked offensively by Collin Morgan – who had a three-run home run – as part of a four-RBI performance..
Jordan Issacs and Morgan finished with two hits apiece, while Josh Stevens, Damian Black, Sam Birchfield, Brayden Christman had a hit each. Stevens had three RBIs in the game.
Johnson allowed no earned runs on two hits with nine strikeouts.
