Hampton continued preparations for the 2019 season on Friday evening.
The Bulldogs welcomed North Greene to JC Campbell Stadium for a preseason scrimmage. It was the first of three scrimmages that Hampton currently has scheduled this fall.
The teams saw each offensive unit have the ball for 10 plays before switching over. During the scrimmage, the teams were held up by lightning delays as weather threatened in the area.
Hampton is slated to open the 2019 season on August 23 at Gatlinburg-Pittman.
