The Hampton offenses were firing on all cylinders on Tuesday night.
The Lady Bulldogs rolled to a 59-31 victory over Happy Valley while the Bulldogs used a quick start to storm to a 79-30 win over the Warriors.
In the girls’ game, the Lady Bulldogs took control early.
After the teams traded shots to open the game, Hampton reeled off an 18-0 run over most of the first quarter to take a 21-4 lead after a quarter of play.
HHS scored the first seven points of the second quarter before HV was able to get things going.
Hampton maintained a 37-10 lead at the half.
The Lady Warriors continued to battle in the second half, but Hampton was able to maintain the lead to secure the win.
Taylor Berry led the Lady Bulldogs with 19 points, while Faye Carrico had 12 points. Brea Hicks and Hannah Smith had eight and seven points, respectively.
Marcida Moore had 18 points to pace HV. Kayla Parker scored five points, while Cayden Anderson scored four points.
In the nightcap, Hampton took control and never looked back.
The Bulldogs held the Warriors to just two free throws in the opening eight minutes and jumped out to a 27-2 lead after the first quarter.
HV scored seven of the first 11 points of the second quarter, but Hampton went on a 13-0 run to regain momentum.
Hampton took a 46-14 lead into the locker room at the half.
The teams continued to battle as the Bulldogs were able to maintain control of the game.
Geno Carrico had a career night as he led Hampton with 19 points. Hayden Campbell scored 18 points, while Michael Anspaugh had nine points. Bryce Fagan and Chance Point had eight and seven points, respectively.
AJ Campbell had nine points to lead Happy Valley, while Artee Bahn had six points. Dylan Furr and TJ Good had four points apiece.
