After a marathon game in the District 1-A/AA Semifinals, it was only fitting that Elizabethton had another overtime game. Unfortunately, the winning goal didn’t go in the Lady Cyclone’s way.
Elizabethton fell 1-0 in double overtime to University High on Thursday night in the District 1-A/AA Championship match. The Lady Cyclones will play at Greeneville to open the Region 1-A on Tuesday afternoon.
