Elizabethton was firing on all cylinders on Wednesday afternoon.
The Lady Cyclones captured a 25-1 victory over Unaka on Wednesday in nonconference action on Stoney Creek.
Elizabethton jumped out to a 10-0 through an inning and a half before UHS was able to plate a run. The Lady Cyclones responded with 12 runs in the third to take full control.
Mikinna Blackwell and Lilly McDuffie led the way for the Orange and Black as the duo went 4-for-4 with four RBI apiece. Adrian Heading had three hits and three RBI, while Brooke Sparks had two hits and three RBI. Piper Bennett added two hits and two RBI.
Laci Gobble picked up the win in the pitching circle as she struck out six batters and allowed just one unearned run on three hits.
Kimberly Profitt recorded a hit and an RBI for Unaka. Katlyn Dugger, Mollie Buckles, and Kacie Bare each added a hit for the Lady Rangers.
