Unaka was unable to keep pace with a hot Blue Devil offensive attack on Friday night.
The Rangers dropped a 64-30 decision to Unicoi County in Erwin.
Unicoi jumped out to an early lead and held a 42-0 advantage at the half.
Despite the score, the Rangers kept fighting.
Unaka saw John Boy Ramsey hit Devon Jarrett for a 24-yard touchdown pass as well as a 61-yard touchdown pass to Blake Isaacs. On the ground, Logan Benway scored from 26 yards out.
Isaacs capped off the night with a 74-yard kickoff return.
Ramsey finished with 258 yards passing.
