Hampton came out on the wrong side of the double-overtime thriller.
It was a back-and-forth battle throughout the game, and the two teams needed two overtimes to decide a winner.
Colby Clark had 39 points to lead the Bulldogs, while Tuff Robinson had 20 points. Bryce Fagan added 15 points. Talon Creed scored 14 points.
Landin Lipford scored 30 points to lead Johnson County. Carson Jennings added 25 points.
Johnson County 51, Hampton 40 (girls)
The Lady Bulldogs were unable to rally on Saturday night.
Johnson County held a 31-21 halftime lead, but the Lady Bulldogs were able to trim into the advantage in the third quarter. In the final eight minutes, Johnson County was able to hold off Hampton to secure the win.
Balleigh Matthews had 13 points to lead Hampton, while Hannah Baird and Gracie Jenkins scored nine points apiece.
