Six Carter County athletes were named to the prestigious Tennessee Sports Writers Association Prep Football All-State team.
Leading the way were three selections from Elizabethton on the 3A team. Sophomore Corey Russell was selected as an athlete. Conner Johnson was named as a wide receiver, while Cameron Coleman represented the Cyclones on the defensive team with his spot on the defensive line.
In Class 2A, Dylan Street was selected as a wide receiver. Landon Morefield was a selection on the offensive line.
Cloudland was represented by Noah Arnett at the linebacker position on the Class A team.
