The brackets are set for the 2018 Spring Fling in Murfreesboro.
In Class AA baseball, Elizabethton is set to open the double-elimination tournament in the upper half of the bracket on Tuesday, May 22 at 5 p.m. Eastern against Stewart County. The Rebels enter the tournament with a 24-6 mark. The Cyclones’ group is slated to play at Smyrna until the State title game.
The winner of the Elizabethton/Stewart County game will play the winner of Grundy County and Riverside on Wednesday, May 23 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern with the winner advancing to Thursday’s group final. The losers of the opening day match-ups will square off in an elimination game at 10 a.m., Eastern.
In the other group, Greeneville will take on Smith County and Forrest will square off against Covington.
The 2018 TSSAA Class AA Baseball State Championship game is set for Friday, May 25 at 3 p.m., Eastern at Middle Tennessee State University.

In Class A Softball, the Unaka Lady Rangers will open their double elimination tournament against Gibson County on Tuesday, May 22 at 5 p.m. Eastern. The opening round game will be held on Field #3 at McKnight with the rest of the tournament being contested at Starplex #4. The Lady Pioneers enter with a 24-10 mark.
The winner of the Unaka/Gibson County match-up will take on the winner of Sale Creek and Houston County on Wednesday, while the losers will square off in an elimination match-up.
The upper half of the bracket seems Summertown taking on Whitwell and Cascade taking on South Fulton.
