Three Carter County teams were ranked in the final regular-season Tennessee AP Prep Football Poll.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton came in at the No. 3 spot.
The Cyclones, who rolled past Seymour, were 10 points behind No. 2 Tullahoma, while Greeneville was the unanimous No. 1.
The top-seven spots remain unchanged with Haywood County and Hardin County rounding out the top five.
In Class 2A, Hampton fell to No. 10 in this week’s poll.
The Bulldogs, who fell at Class 5A Daniel Boone on Friday, were just 13 points behind No. 9 Watertown and 18 points behind No. 8 South Greene.
Meigs County received 10-of-13 first-place votes to come in at the No. 1 spot. Westview and Memphis Academy moved up to No. 2 and No. 3, while last week’s No. 2 Trousdale County fell to No. 5.
In Class A, Cloudland held firm at No. 6 after rolling past North Greene in the regular-season finale.
The ‘Landers were 12 points behind No. 5 Gordonsville – who jumped from No. 7.
McKenzie was ranked No. 1 with Peabody and Fayetteville coming in at No. 2 and No. 3.
