Cloudland, Elizabethton, and Happy Valley continue to be ranked inside the Tennessee AP Prep Football poll.
In Class 4A, the Cyclones tallied 115 points to come in No. 4 – setting the stage for a top-five clash with No. 1 Greeneville on Friday night.
Elizabethton held steady at the No. 4 spot after winning their sixth straight victory. Crockett County and Anderson County held the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, respectively.
In Class 2A, the Warriors maintained the No. 9 spot despite the heartbreaking loss to Johnson County. HV was seven points behind Trinity.
No. 1 Meigs County held steady at No. 1 with No. 2 Union City and No. 3 Lewis County rounding out the top three.
After Cloudland’s victory over Hampton, the ‘Landers stayed slotted at No. 9 in Class A. Cloudland had 12 points behind No. 8 Lake County.
South Pittsburg was the No. 1 team. No. 2 Huntingdon and No. 3 Whitwell rounded out the top three with Greenback jumping to No. 4 after dispatching Greenback last week.
Other local teams in the poll included Johnson County (No. 3 in Class 3A) and Daniel Boone (No. 9 in Class 5A).
