Happy Valley 16, Tri-Cities Christian 3
The Lady Warriors rolled to a win on Thursday evening on the road.
HV broke open a 3-2 run with three runs in the third and two more in the fourth and fifth innings. The Lady Warriors added six more in the seventh to secure the win.
Alex Moore had three hits and four RBI to lead HV, while Addison Moore added three hits and two RBI. Trinity Bowers and Mackenzie Skeans added three hits and an RBI apiece.
Chloe Cochran, Destanee Irick and Emily Miller each had two hits and an RBI, and Tierra Collins added a hit and an RBI. Mackenzie Garland added two hits.
Bowers struck out nine batters in the pitching circle and allowed just three earned runs in a complete game.
Unaka 12, University High 4
The Lady Rangers pulled away in the fifth and never looked back as Unaka plated seven runs in the frame.
Devalynn Harter was 2-for-4 with an RBI, while Mollie Buckes and Brooklyn Campbell each had two hits. Katlyn Dugger added two RBI and a hit.
Saylor Conner had two RBI.

Gatlinburg-Pittman 9, Happy Valley 6
The Warriors dropped a heartbreaker on Thursday evening.
After neither team was able to get on the board through five innings,
Gatlinburg-Pittman took a 4-0 lead in the top of the sixth. Happy Valley, however, battled back with six of their own to take a 6-4 advantage into the final inning.
The Highlanders answered with five runs in the visiting side of the frame, and HV was unable to rally.
Lane Parker and Greg Visser each had two RBI and a hit, while Brody Wagner had a hit and an RBI.
Sullivan East 12, Unaka 2
The Rangers were unable to keep pace with the Sullivan East bats on Thursday afternoon.
Laken Barnett had a hit and an RBI for Unaka. Robert Humphrey and TJ Parenteau each added a hit.
