Three Carter County teams continued to be ranked in the Tennessee AP Prep Football poll entering week 5.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton moved to the No. 4 spot. The Cyclones tallied 108 points – just 12 points behind No. 3 Pearl-Cohn.
Greeneville came in ranked No. 1, while Tullahoma was ranked No. 2.
In Class 2A, Hampton held steady at the No. 3 spot with 116 points and a first-place vote. The Bulldogs were 25 points behind No. 2 Trousdale County.
Meigs County garnered 14-of-16 first-place votes to claim the top spot.
In Class A, Cloudland moved to No. 9 in this week’s poll. The ‘Landers were 12 points behind No. 8 Cornersville.
Peabody held down the top spot, and Fayetteville was ranked No. 2 in this week’s poll.
