Three county teams remain ranked in the Tennessee Prep Football AP Poll heading into Week 7.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton came in this week at No. 3 – up one spot from last week. The Cyclones tallied 135 points in this week’s poll.
Greeneville was the unanimous No. 1 with 18 first-place votes, while Tullahoma came in ranked No. 2. Haywood County and Pearl-Cohn rounded out the top five.
In Class 2A, Hampton held steady at No. 3 with 131 points. The Bulldogs garnered one first-place vote and were 26 points behind No. 2 Trousdale County.
Meigs County claimed the top spot, while Westview and Marion County held down the No. 4 and No. 5 spots, respectively.
In Class A, Cloudland climbed one spot to No. 9. The ‘Landers were 20 points behind No. 8 Clay County with 34 points.
Peabody remained ranked No. 1 in this week’s poll as the top seven spots remain unchanged.
