Cloudland’s Coffey runs Climate Controllers honor

A four-touchdown performance claimed the Climate Controllers honors for Week 7.

Cloudland senior Jordan Coffey has been named the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for Week 7 for his performance against Unaka.

Coffey was right at home at Orr Field during homecoming as he ran for 109 yards on 12 carries – averaging over nine yards a carry. The running back had three rushing touchdowns and also caught a 41-yard touchdown.

For the season, Coffey has 756 yards on the ground on 93 carries. He has 11 rushing yards and one receiving touchdown so far` this season.

The senior joins the offensive line as Climate Controllers selections from Cloudland this season. Other honorees include Elizabethton’s Corey Russell, Carter Everett, Parker Hughes along with Hampton’s Lane Potter and Unaka’s John Boy Ramsey.

Coffey and company are set to host Hampton on Friday night for senior night at Orr Field.
