Elizabethton continued to hold steady, while Hampton continued to receive votes in the latest Tennessee AP Prep Football poll after Week 6 action.
In Class 4A, the top six teams remained the same including the Cyclones holding down the No. 3 spot. EHS received 153 points – including a first-place vote – and was just three points behind No. 2 Upperman.
Peal-Cohn received 16-of-19 first-place votes to hold the top spot.
In Class 2A, Hampton received 16 points and was just seven points behind No. 10 Mt. Pleasant.
