The Region 1-A Girls Basketball tournament has a new location.
After a District 1-A sweep on Friday night, the semifinals and finals have been moved to Daniel Boone High School in Gray.
The games were originally scheduled to be held at Walters State Community College as it was District 2’s year to host. The TSSAA allows a location change for the region tournaments if one district sweeps and it is the other district’s year to host.
Unaka will take on North Greene at 6p on Monday in the first semifinal, while Hampton and Cloudland will square off in the second semifinal at 7:30p.
The Championship Game is set for 7p.
The boys Region 1-A tournament is still slated to be held at Walters State on Tuesday and Thursday.
