Hampton used a quick start and never looked back on Friday night.
The Bulldogs scored 46 points in the opening quarter and cruised to a 74-22 victory over Unaka on Stoney Creek in Region 1-A play.

Sage Milhorn opened the scoring with a 76-yard kick return for a score on the opening kick. Alden Cordell caught a 17-yard pass from Connor McKinney, and Maddux Wilson added a 49-yard pick-six as HHS took a 24-0 lead three minutes into the game.
Brock Shelby and Isaiah Belcher added touchdowns to give HHS a 49-0 lead after 12 minutes of play.
Gabe Vines scored on a 13-yard run for the Bulldogs before Unaka got on the board as Ashton Fuller took a screen pass 62 yards from TJ Parenteau to get the Rangers on the board.
Caleb Waters scored on a 35-yard touchdown run to cap the first half scoring for the Bulldogs.
Jaden Allara scored on a 22-yard pass from Tuff Parlier for the Bulldogs in the third quarter, while Jordan Cosey hit Edward Page for an 11-yard pass to account for the final Hampton score in the fourth.
Brayden Otey found Fuller for a 62-yard touchdown pass, and Fuller returned a kick 78 yards for a score in the final quarter for the Rangers.
Hampton had 242 yards of rushing while holding Unaka to (-31) yards of rushing.
