The Happy Valley boys’ basketball team has a new lead.
Shane Williams was announced as the new head coach for the Warriors during a Friday press conference.
Williams takes over for Jeremy Maddox – who resigned in June to spend more time with his family.
Williams comes to Warrior Hill after serving as the head coach at Tri-Cities Christian for the past two seasons.
He has previously served as an assistant coach at Martin Methodist, King University, and Carson Newman along with serving as a graduate assistant at Tennessee.
In his playing career, Williams played at Tennessee after leading Science Hill to a State Championship and State runner-up.
