Unaka was unable to keep pace with a hot-shooting Northview Academy.
The Lady Rangers saw their season come to a close with a 65-29 loss to the Lady Cougars in the Region 1-A Quarterfinals.
Northview opened the game quickly racing out to a 22-7 first-quarter lead. The Lady Rangers continued to fight, but Northview pushed the lead to 42-16.
From there, the Lady Rangers were unable to recover.
Katlyn Weaver had 10 points to lead Unaka. Madison Ensor scored five points, while Kaitlyn Burrow, Sarah Tipton, Erika Potter and Mia Parlier had three points each. Lexi Garland added a bucket for Unaka.
