The Lady Rangers took a 6-0 victory over Greenback in the Region 1-A semifinals to advance to the Region 1-A Championship for the third consecutive season. Unaka will travel to Cosby on Wednesday for the Region 1-A Championship game.

With the win, Unaka also secured a berth to the Class A substate.

Against Greenback, the Lady Rangers took control in the third.

Greenback was able to get a runner on base, but Unaka held strong. Potter tacked on a run in the fourth for the Lady Rangers to push Shoun across.

From there, neither team was able to get on the board as Unaka held strong to take the win.

Kiser and Parsons had two hit apiece, while Madison Pierce, Noelle Collins, Shanks, Shoun, and Potter each had a hit.

In the circle, Shoun had a dominate performance as she allowed just five hits in a complete game effort.
