Unaka picked up a key Region 1-A victory on Friday night.
The Rangers rolled to a 46-7 victory over Jellico on Stoney Creek for Homecoming.
With the win, Unaka improves to 2-3 overall.
Unaka got the party started early.
Climate Controllers Player of the Week Landon Ramsey broke onto the board with a 45-yard touchdown run and the Rangers added a two-point conversion to take an 8-0 lead three minutes into the game.
Ramsey added another touchdown run later in the quarter, and Takoda Freeman caught a Ramsey pass for a 25-yard score to take a 24-0 advantage.
Ramsey pushed the advantage to 32-0 early in the second quarter with a touchdown run. Jamol Blamo came up big for the Ranger defense as he jumped in front of a Jellico pass and raced 47 yards for the pick-six.
That gave the Rangers a 40-0 lead at the break.
Isiah White scored the lone Ranger touchdown in the fourth quarter after taking the handoff from TJ Thomas.
Ramsey finished 11-of-18 for 167 yard and also added 86 yards rushing on seven carries. Brynin Repass was 2-fo-3 passing for 127 yards and a TD.
Blamo finished with eight carries for 50 yards. Joe-Z Blamo had 81 receiving yards on four catches.
Unaka returns to action next Friday night with a trip to Happy Valley.
