Unaka kept on track Tuesday afternoon.
The Lady Rangers clinched a spot in the District 1-A Championship game as well as punched a ticket to the Region 1-A tournament with a 7-2 victory over Sullivan North in Greeneville.
With the win, Unaka will face North Greene on Thursday with the District 1-A title on the line in Greeneville.
After a scoreless first inning, Unaka opened the scoring as Lyndie Ramsey scored off a Hailey Gilman double to give UHS an early 1-0 lead.
Noelle Collins added two runs in the bottom of the third to the Unaka tally as her double pushed Sadie Shoun and Taylor Grindstaff across home plate.
The Lady Rangers added to the lead in the home side of the fourth as Alana Parsons and Collins drove in runs to push the Unaka lead to 6-0 after four complete innings.
Parsons struck again in the bottom of the sixth with a home run over center field to cap the scoring for Unaka.
Parsons finished the game 3-for-3 with two RBI, while Kendall Bare, Ramsey, and Collins each had two hits. Collins finished with four RBI.
Trinity Bowers and Gilman each had a hit for Unaka.
In the circle, Bowers picked up the win as she allowed just two earned runs on three hits with 10 strikeouts.
