Unaka was unable to pull off an upset on Saturday night.
The Rangers were unable to keep pace with a blazing hot Cosby squad in a 79-58 decision to the Eagles in Region 1-A quarterfinal action in Cosby.
Unaka saw Cosby jump out early.
The Eagles knocked down six 3-pointers in the opening eight minutes to race to a 26-8 lead after the first quarter of play.
Joseph Slagle had five points in the second stanza, but the Rangers saw Cosby stay hot as they were unable to cut into the deficit.
Unaka trailed 50-17 at the half.
The Rangers, however, continued to battle.
Slagle knocked down six 3-pointers in the third quarter, while Joe-Z Blamo had five points as Unaka trimmed a bit off the Cosby lead.
However, the Rangers were unable to rally to extend the season.
Slagle had 29 points to pace Unaka, while Will Sexton had 14 points.
Blamo ended the night with 10 points.
Paxton Coggins led Cosby with 21 points with seven 3-pointers. As a team, the Eagles had 12 3-pointers.
