It was a district sweep on Stoney Creek.
Unaka picked up a pair of varsity wins over University High on Friday night. The Rangers rolled to an 87-69 victory over the Bucs, while the Lady Rangers cruised to a 63-25 victory.
A hot-shooting Rangers team had no problems with the Bucs.
John Boy Ramsey had 22 points to power Unaka – 18 of which came from behind the 3-point line. Gary Wright added 19 points for the Rangers. Kyler Lewis added 18 points to the Ranger cause.
Joseph Harless and Charlie Vargo had 17 points apiece.
For the Lady Rangers, there was never any doubt.
Unaka scored early and often to take the victory. Erika Potter and Kaitlyn Weaver had 11 points apiece to lead the Lady Rangers.
Annika Oiler had 10 points for the Lady Bucs.
