For the second straight week, the Climate Controller Player of the Week belongs to Unaka.

Jamol Blamo has been named the Climate Controllers Player of the Week for his performance in the Rangers’ win at Jellico.

Blamo had 18 carries for 230 yards in the key Region 1-A win. The junior tallied four touchdowns in the win.

Unaka’s 62 points tied the school record for points in a game set in 2000.

Blamo joins teammate Landon Ramsey as Climate Controllers Player of the Week selections.

Other selections this season include Elizabethton’s Bryson Rollins, Cloudland’s Caleb Sluder, and Hampton’s Conor Jones as selections this season.

Blamo and company are set to return to action on Friday night as Happy Valley is slated to visit Stoney Creek.
