The Road to Chattanooga is set.
With the conclusion of the 2024 regular season, the brackets for the TSSAA playoffs have been set with four county schools looking to extend their seasons.
All playoff games will kick off at 7p local time.
In Class A, Cloudland will enter the playoffs as the No. 3 seed from Region 1 and will travel to Region 2-No. 2 seed Oliver Springs. The winner of that contest will advance to take on the winner of the Region 1-No. 1 Cosby and Region 2-No. 4 Rockwood contest in the second round.
The bottom of the Region 1 vs. Region 2 bracket features Region 1-No. 2 North Greene vs. Region 2-No. 3 Harriman and Region 2-No. 1 Coalfield vs. Region 1 -No. 4 Jellico.
In Class 2A, Happy Valley will enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed from Region 1, while Hampton will be the No. 4 seed from Region 1.
For the opening round, Happy Valley will host Region 2-No. 3 Polk County on Warrior Hill. Hampton will travel to Region 2-No. 1 York Institute to open the playoffs with the winner advancing to take on the winner of the Happy Valley-Polk County game.
In the top half of the Region 1 vs. Region 2 bracket, Region 1-No. 1 South Greene will take on Region 2-No. 4 Tellico Plains, while Region 2-No. 2 Bledsoe County will host Region 1-No. 3 Eagleton with the winners squaring off in the second round.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton will enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed from Region 1-4A and will host a first-round contest.
EHS will welcome Region 2-No. 3 Knox Fulton for the first-round matchup. The winner will advance to take on the winner of the Region 1-No. 4 Northview Academy and Region 2-No. 1 Anderson County in the second round.
The top half of the Region 1 vs. Region 2 bracket features Region 1-No. 1 Greeneville vs. Region 2-No. 4 Carter along with Region 2-No. 2 Gibbs vs Region 1-No. 3 Cherokee with the winners squaring off against each other in the second round,
