The Road to Chattanooga is set.
With the conclusion of the 2023 regular season, the brackets for the TSSAA playoffs have been set with all five county schools looking to extend their season.
All playoff games will kickoff at 7p local time.
In Class A, Cloudland will enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed from Region 1-A and will welcome Region 2-No. 4 Greenback to Orr Field for the first round. The winner of the Cloudland/Greenback game will advance to take on the winner of the Region 2-No. 2 Oliver Springs and Region 1-No. 3 North Greene contest in the second round.
Cloudland will have home field throughout the playoffs.
Unaka will hit the road to open the playoffs as they will travel as the Region 1-No. 4 seed and will travel to Region 2-No. 1 Coalfield. The winner of that game will take on the winner of the Region 1-No. 2 Jellico and Region 2-No. 3 Rockwood contest in the second round.
In Class 2A, Hampton and Happy Valley secured home playoff games on Friday night. The Bulldogs will have home-field advantage throughout after claiming the Region 1-2A Championship.
The Bulldogs will host Region 2-No. 4 Polk County in the first round, and the winner will advance to play the winner of the Region 2-No. 2 Bledsoe County and Region 1-No. 3 South Greene contest.
The Warriors will welcome Region 2-No. 3 Oneida to Warrior Hill for the first round. The winner of that contest will take on the winner of the Region 2-No. 1 York Institute and Region 1-No. 4 Eagleton game.
In Class 4A, Elizabethton will enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed from Region 1-2A. The Cyclones will start the playoffs with a home game against Knoxville Carter with the winner playing the winner of the Region 2-No. 1 Anderson County and Region 1-No. 4 Sullivan East game in the second round.
The other part of the bracket includes Region 1-No. 1 Greeneville vs. Region 2-No. 4 Knox Fulton and Region 2-No. 2 Gibbs vs. Region 1-No. 3 Northview Academy.
