Bulldogs Rally Past Longhorns; Lady Bulldogs Roll

Hampton 69, Johnson County 66 (boys)
The Bulldogs rallied for a road win on Friday night.

The Bulldogs saw Johnson County hold a 49-42 lead entering the final quarter, but HHS wasn’t going to be denied. Hampton outscored the host Longhorns 27-14 in the final quarter to take the win.

Cadon Buckles had 32 points to pace Hampton. Michael Anspaugh added 16 points, and Hayden Campbell scored 11 points.

Johnson County was led by Graham Reece’s 17 points.

The Lady Bulldogs took care of business to improve to 3-0 on the year.

Macy Henry had a big night as she tallied 16 points along with eight rebounds to pace Hampton. Linsey Jenkins finished with 14 points, and Taylor Berry scored 11 points.

Piper Helle added eight points, nine rebounds and five steals for the Lady Bulldogs.
