It was all Hampton on Friday night.
The Bulldogs pulled away in the second quarter and never looked back as they rolled toa. 51-13 victory over Eagleton in Region 1-2A action in Maryville.
With the win, Hampton improved to 5-2 on the year and 3-0 in region action.
After Eagleton was forced to punt on the opening drive, the Bulldog offense took off running.
Hampton used a 14-play drive to cover 99 yards, and the drive was capped off with a 12-yard run from Dom Burleson as the Bulldogs took an 8-0 lead into the second.
Peyton Townsend extended the lead early in the second as he scored on a 21-yard run to cap off an eight-play drive, while Burleson scored his second touchdown of the night midway through the second.
Hampton pushed the lead to 30-0 with 5:02 left in the half as Dylan Trivett scored on a 24-yard run.
Eagleton was able to find the endzone in the closing seconds of the half as Nathan Clemmer scored on a four-yard run to cap off a nine-play drive.
Hampton, however, continued to leave no doubt.
Burleson scored on a 63-yard run to open the third-quarter scoring, while Geno Carrico capped off an eight-play, 84-yard drive with an 8-yard run.
Burleson capped the Hampton scoring in the fourth as he had a 38-yard touchdown.
Burleson ended the game with 27 carries for 354 yards, while Hampton finished the game with 478 offensive yards.
Shayden Oliver led a stingy Hampton defense with five tackles for loss as the Bulldogs held Eagleton to 199 offensive yards.
